Iris here. I write from a cold house with a warm kitchen.
This site is my notebook: what worked, what didn't, and what I keep forgetting. I started looking after plants about nine years ago, after a friend lent me a bag of bark.
You'll see Tuppence, my fiddle-leaf fig, in most posts. I post when there's something to say about keeping plants alive indoors, which is roughly every week or so.
The short story is a long, quiet winter, about eight years ago. I've been growing houseplants for two years now; it started with clearing out a relative's loft.
There are no comments on Windowsill at Home; if you know me, you know where to find me. Windowsill at Home is plain HTML and CSS, written by hand and updated whenever there's something new.
